Color Caves in Peril in the Pits
The Color Crystals are found in the Color Caves and Prism Ponds of Rainbow Land. The Color Caves are vast caves that cover the mountains that surround Rainbow Land and are mined by the Color Kids and their respective Sprites.

The caves have small mine tracks that go from the caves and down to the Color Castle, where they are refined into Star Sprinkles.

In the episode Peril in the Pits, Murky Dismal steals an unrefined blue color crystal and throws it into quicksand in the Pits to temporarily make it look like water. This trick got Starlite in big trouble, as he walked into it to clean off.
